Rocky Passes Estate is a cool-climate vineyard and boutique winery that produces award-winning, artisan-made red wines. Our cellar door was inspired by the cosy simplicity of the cantinas of Europe and Sth America. It is the heart of Rocky Passes serving Spanish tapas and hosting intimate wine tastings, art exhibitions, private functions and special events. Rocky Passes is also home of Vitto Oles’ furniture-making studio.

Enjoy tastings and the delicious food from the tapas bars of Spain on Sundays 11am-5pm; the last Friday of the month from 6pm … or by appointment.

Located at the southern end of the Strathbogies, in the Upper Goulburn winegrowing region of Victoria, Rocky Passes is a popular local tourist attraction.

Viticulture

Rocky Passes is a tiny, cool climate vineyard specialising in northern Rhône varieties: Syrah (Shiraz) and Viognier. It sits at the southern end of Victoria’s Strathbogie Ranges in the Upper Goulburn winegrowing region.

The border between the Upper Goulburn and Goulburn Valley regions passes through our property, and the border of the Strathbogie region is about 100 metres away, just over the road!  We are in a very unique position and often refer to our property as the corner block!
